Peter Turner (born 28 August 1974) is the bass player of Elbow. He is the co-author of all their songs. He notably plays a 1970 Gibson Les Paul Signature Bass. His disinctive bass is the driving force of songs like Mexican Standoff and Leaders Of The Free World from the album of the same name.
